Animation

Starting with animated banners and GIFs, I quickly developed a strong interest in bringing visual elements to life through animation. This curiosity led me to explore Flash, a powerful tool for creating interactive and animated content, which became a cornerstone of my early design work. Through Flash, I honed my ability to craft engaging animations and immersive experiences that captivated audiences. Building on this foundation, I transitioned into creating motion graphics, blending design, storytelling, and animation to produce dynamic visuals for a variety of applications, from promotional materials to instructional content. This progression not only deepened my technical expertise but also fostered a passion for using motion as a compelling medium to communicate ideas and evoke emotions.

Teaching

In addition to my full-time professional career, I had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and expertise by teaching several courses at DeVry University. These courses were offered at their Fremont and San Jose campuses, within the College of Media Arts and Technology. During my time as a visiting professor, I taught a diverse range of subjects, including Information Design, Web Design, Advanced Web Design, and Visual Design Fundamentals. This role allowed me to guide and mentor students, helping them build a strong foundation in the principles of design and technology. Through hands-on instruction and real-world examples, I aimed to inspire creativity while equipping students with the technical skills and critical thinking needed to succeed in the fast-evolving fields of media and technology. Teaching these courses was not only an opportunity to give back to the academic community but also a chance to stay engaged with emerging talent and the latest trends in design education, further enriching my own professional practice.
