I am a web/multimedia designer/developer that is very talented at presenting complex information and ideas in a creative, easy-to-understand, and entertaining way. I am one of the first to graduate from CSUHayward with a M.A in Multimedia, an interdisciplinary degree that encompasses Human-Computer Interaction, learning theories, art, computer science, telecommunications, education, and business. I am seeking opportunities to create innovative, interactive, inspirational and informational web sites. While at IBM, I oversaw the entire IBM storage division web presence, some 13,000 individual pages, and managed web teams throughout the world assuring that corporate guidelines, brand imaging, and web standards were strictly maintained.

I have more than four years web design/development experience. I can create all HTML code by hand; however, I am proficient with using WYSIWYG html editors (Dreamweaver, Go-Live, etc.). I work on a professional level with the Adobe suite of products (PhotoShop, ImageReady, Illustrator) as well as the Macromedia Flash, Director/shockwave software. I have a thorough understanding of cross platforms and browser limitation issues. I also have additional GUI (Graphic User Interface) design experience.

I possess a strong traditional/classical art background including illustration, life drawing, shading, animation, storyboards, modeling and layout design. I am a life-long artist and have a sharp eye for detail. Musical interests include playing the classical guitar and enjoying a wide breadth of musical tastes.

M.A. Multimedia

I was in the first graduating class from the CSUHayward M.A. in Multimedia program.
I was fortunate to work with three of the greatest guys I have ever known. Our project group, entitled IART, conceptualized and constructed an interactive, computer-controlled, labyrinth for our masters thesis. Entrants to the labyrinth were able to create sounds and melodies by interacting with sensors throughout the passages and hallways.

Stan Bunger of KRON's "New Media News" did a special report on the graduate program.
